Say Less, Mr. Speaker.

In a moment that most would revisit with regret, Speaker Paul Ryan went on the Today Show on Tuesday to try and convince either the world or himself that, yes, Republicans have a plan to repeal and replace the ACA. By rattling off stale talking points, and then throwing his predecessor under the bus for stating the obvious, Paul Ryan offered nothing new. He did, however, say this:
“See, we’re not writing some bill in the back room…like Obamacare was written, we’re going through the committee process. We’re doing this step-by-step, we’re having public hearings…this is how the legislative process is supposed to be designed.”
